A Deeper Look
Our client is an avid gardener herself, so when she and her husband bought this piece of land years ago, she knew she wanted to do it right. One of the largest projects we’ve worked on to date, it was hard to see the end when we started with such a mountain of bare soil. The overall goal was to retain as many native trees as well as their beloved cedar tree in their entry, while bringing life back into the space. With a new build comes challenges, but we faced them head on. A winding permeable pathway takes you down to the lake where there is a bluestone patio waiting to enjoy a cold beverage. This yard is a birds paradise and even though its nestled into the city, it feels like a cabin in the woods.
