Katherine is in her eighth year of working for Shooting Star Gardens.  She is the backbone and the heart of the SSG maintenance team.

Katherine “Never Late” Mayor is  extraordinarily hard working, has NO idea what the concept of procrastination is, and she trains all new staff on the ways of Shooting Star. She is the one who teaches us all just how much we can get done in a day! Katherine has worked in all aspects of field work, from pulling ivy to laying flagstone.

Katherine has created a remarkable garden of her own upcycling materials from ssg’s jobs over the years.  It is a a creative wonderland.

Katherine’s hobbies besides gardening in her own yard are traveling and camping in her trailer with her husband and kids.
