Food Garden Sanctuary
Victory Heights, Seattle, WA
A deeper look
When this client came to us, she was looking for a hobby garden that she could disappear into, without the stress of mapping things out. We replaced railroad ties with juniper lumber and laid cowboy coffee flagstone to create a functional sitting space and pathway. Even in a large space, space can be limited. The espalier created a vertical element for her to grow mutiple types of fruit trees without shading her new juniper raised beds. The espalier posts sit inside a new perennial bed intended to attract local pollinators and encourage an edible abundance!
Client Testimonial
“We couldn’t be happier with Shooting Star Gardens. Savannah and her team spent the time to not only understand our needs but also provide their expertise and suggestions and overall they created a perfect garden for our space. We have since used them for additional enhancements and every time they’ve been responsive, open to adjusting plans based on feedback, and consistently delivered quality results. We have referred them to our friends and well and everyone has been completely satisfied.”
