They’ve always been interested in nature and outdoor spaces, and after working at a Washington State Park, they’re very passionate about invasive plants and native alternatives. Ezra loves backpacking, kayaking, and stopping to admire every critter or flower they spot while out on the trail! When Ezra has time, they also write poetry and make art, often inspired by their experiences with and in the natural world.

Ezra is relatively new to Shooting Star Gardens, and is excited to learn all about diverse, native gardens and how to maintain them, while providing space for local wildlife. Most of their days are spent in the field and Ezra loves transforming overgrown gardens into accessible spaces for all to enjoy!
