Ellie attended the horticulture program at Edmonds Community College, but most of her knowledge and skills were passed down by her aunt, Jo Anne Lowery. She has been in horticulture professionally for 10 years and ran a single-person pruning business prior to joining up with the Shooting Star team.

Ellie has been with Shooting Star since July 2021, working on the maintenance side, mostly in fine pruning. She especially likes working with weeping Japanese maples, and taming plants that have grown a bit wild over the years.

Ellie loves working outdoors, having an awesome team of coworkers to collaborate with, and nurturing beautiful spaces for people to live in.
