Sustainable landscape design & INSTALLATION

Your dream yard starts with great design.

Your Yard is Your Private Habitat – Let’s Bring it to Life!

No matter where you are at with your current landscaping, our landscape design services can help you create a yard that encourages you to get outside and enjoy spending time in it.

The investment you make in planning your garden will save you hours of work in the long-run, and you’ll avoid the stress and headaches that come from poor or haphazard landscape decisions – not to mention the money you’ll save by putting your ideas on paper first.

Whether you are simply looking for the best way to incorporate a new feature, renovate your entire landscape, or create a plan for changes in the future, this is the place to start!

Our thoughtfully considered design plans will:

  • help you narrow down and identify the most important features to include in your yard
  • select plants that will thrive in your unique site conditions, and that will support the activities you want to pursue in each space
  • take into account the future growth and maintenance needs of each plant, prioritizing low-maintenance plants that will continue adding beauty to your yard for years to come.
  • help manage storm water and runoff concerns
  • increase your property vale
  • and save you time, headaches, stress, and money in the long run!

Excited to Get Started?

If you are ready to start designing your dream yard, the first step is to complete our design questionnaire. Once we receive your completed form, we’ll schedule your initial consultation with our design team.

Holistic Landscape Design

This is the right offering for you if you’re looking to re-design most or all of your landscape. You will work with a dedicated landscape designer who will collaborate with you to create a design including your chosen elements and a planting plan.

  • A to-scale base map of your site
  • 1-3 initial concept sketches
  • A final master plan with a detailed planting plan and plant list.
  • 1-2 revision phases as needed

This process usually takes about 12-15 weeks to complete.

This will include:

  • An initial 1-2 hr design consultation
  • A simple concept sketch (not necessarily to scale)
  • A general plant list (not necessarily an itemized planting plan)
  • One revision phase

A range between $750-$2K, depending on size and complexity of your project.

Planting Plan

If you already have the bones of your garden and hardscape in place but are at a loss on what to put where, a simple planting plan is for you.

Our trained horticulturalists and designers will work hard to create a highly customized plant list for your space.

This will include:

  • an initial 1-2 hour design consultation
  • a detailed plant list, including pictures, simple care instructions, bloom times, and water requirements for each chosen plant.

A range between $450-1200 is typical for this level of design, depending on the size of your space.

Installation will be completed by the Shooting Star Gardens team, and quotes are provided after the final master design is approved.
